Featuring burnout prevention coaches Matthew & Annika Egglestone, Arete Effect is proud to host it's very first Burnout Prevention Workshop.


In this 90-minute workshop, you'll discover a simple framework for identifying your unique burnout triggers and implementing practical solutions that fit YOU. Matthew and Annika will guide you through their proven 3-step method to reclaim your energy without adding more to your already busy schedule.


You'll learn how to recognize early warning signs of burnout, set boundaries that stick, and implement micro-practices that can be integrated into your daily routine. The workshop combines evidence-based techniques with real-world applications, leaving you with strategies you can immediately put into action.


As a participant, you will receive a customized burnout prevention toolkit, including the workshop worksheet and access to a curated resource list for continued support. This isn't about adding more to your plate—it's about making small, strategic changes that create lasting impact.

Who is Arete Effect?

Arete Effect is the gym for non-gym people. We've created a safe space for people of all shapes & sizes to get strong - in fact, we specialise in "wonky bodies". Whether you struggle mentally with e.g depression, & anxiety, or physically with e.g. PCOS or hypermobility, you'll have a home here.

Working with diverse clients to improve their lives with conditions such as depression, anxiety, PCOS, hypermobility, joint replacements, pre/post surgery, ADHD to name a few, she understands the uniqueness that we all bring to the world and how with the right support we can all achieve amazing things.

Annika and Matthew are Burnout Prevention Coaches who help people reclaim their energy, focus, and well-being.

They believe that living a successful life shouldn’t come at the cost of exhaustion.

Having spoken internationally about burnout, including in New Zealand and Vietnam, they’re passionate about helping people break free from stress and overwhelm. In this workshop, they’ll share simple, science-backed strategies to help you prevent burnout, feel more in control, and start thriving again.
